  After taking the care to prepare a special birthday gift for my granddaughter and mail it two weeks in advance, it arrived a week later back at UPS store with a note on it saying she refused it, and that it was damaged. Absolutely false that she refused it; it never arrived, but totally true that they damaged it. When I went to the store to file a claim, the woman behind the counter said one had already been filed by the woman who took the package. When I went back to speak with the woman who took the package, she said no claim had been filed but an investigation had been launched with UPS, and Mailboxes couldn't take responsibility. She said there was nothing else she could do but I could call UPS. I called UPS who said the investigation had been closed and the claim denied, but no reason was given why. I was then told I couldn't be connected to the claim department but that I could go back to the store and have them call while I was there. What a run-around with everyone trying to pass the buck! I''ll never use UPS again! They often lie at my business when they don't deliver something and say that they did, and that someone even signed for it and I know that the gate was locked because we were closed at the time they claim they delivered it. Such bad business practices and customer service is even worse! Try FedEx and see if you have better luck.

  Awful service!!! Staff was extremely rude and did not understand their own shipping system.
